I was desperate for a vehicle after a horrid experience with Carvana. I was able to chat with the dealer via online chat and text and found a 2018 VW Tiguan that I liked. Everyone was very easy to talk with and had the vehicle waiting for me when I arrived to test drive. Only a couple days later I was back to purchase the vehicle and it was pain free and very upfront. Tom and Jed were my main contacts and were very helpful and accommodating during this difficult time for dealerships with next to no inventory. I was pleasantly surprised that when I inquired about any dealership market adjustments, they said they were not doing that. Other dealerships were inflating prices by $3000. An overall fantastic experience!
The evening of test driving, getting finance/ lease quotes and learning about the Tiguan and Cross Sport, with Tom, was flawless. It was a difficult decision until we sat in the 2022 Tiguan SE-R. That was the one. It has everything we need, want and more. We were excited to go back the next day to finalize the purchase. Pulling into the parking lot seeing the gorgeous white on black car waiting for us was such a great feeling- until walking over to it. Seeing how dirty it was with water marks all over the windows was disheartening. However, Tom promptly greeted us and thoroughly went through the Tiguan’s features and infotainment system. While it was a lot of information to take in, his presentation really showed how much advanced technology the vehicle comes with. In the business office we were given an incorrect registration, pitched an over priced extended warranty and contacted days later that we never signed the loan agreement. When we returned to the dealership and spoke with Pete, the general manager, he genuinely did all he could to right the wrongs. His response to our mixed experience is the reason for a 4-star rating instead of three.
